Well as I sit here writing this i have made either the biggest mistake ever or i the best move ever. Why what decision have i made well, I have quit my job (which pays most of the bills) as I was feeling that I wasn't going anywhere while working there.
I am now free to concentrate on my photos a lot more but there is that nagging doubt that maybe I've made the wrong decision.
Only time will tell.

I've decided to write about the time I took the picture Moody Sky in my latest blog. We were staying in Coniston at Browside B&B back in 2007 and had decided to spend the day in Coniston. As we were walking around the northern point of the lake the sky suddenly went very ominously dark, which is when I took the photo. All of a sudden and just as quickly had the clouds rolled in they had disappeared. Typical weather of the British Lake District.

Been trying to think about what to write in my second blog post and I decided to write about when I took the photo Through The Trees. Me and my wife were staying in a cottage on an estate just to the south of Oban, Scotland in October 2010 and we decided to take a walk up to a viewpoint that we had been told about. The only problem, the ground was very wet and after walking for about ten minutes we decided to turn back to the cottage which was when I was able to get the photo. Unfortunately less than 100 yards from the cottage my wife slipped and pulled me down so we were both covered in mud but it was worth it seeing the views we could even if we didn't get to the actual viewing point.

As I lie here in bed I cannot help but think about the 11th November. Not only is it Armistice Day but it would have been my granddad's 98th birthday. My granddad was born on 11th November 1919 in Liverpool and when he was 19 years old he joined the army with his mates on the very day that war was declared on 1st September 1939. He would experience things that 'no human should experience' but unfortunately I never got to know my grandad as he died of Cancer 2 months before I was born.
